ok, it's true, i kinda breezed over the whole my only sis got married thing. but really, i got all dolled up, worked really hard and then was treated as less than (fill in the blank -- equal, worthy of human/civil rights, whatever) and my partner of TEN years was treated less kindly than even the most random passing stranger. they call themselves christians, these people, and then they wonder why i want no part of their so-called church. and really, nobody in my family has called to see if i'm ok, and nobody in that same family has expressed anything other than disinterest at best and disgust at worst to me in the last month. so i guess i'd rather just breeze over it, ok?

UPDATE: saw this last week [5/9/03] and it was fantastic. true, it was imperfect, but clever, entertaining, and easy to watch... go see it now! almost as good as his shopping for fangs (only one of my favorite movies ever -- buy it for me!)
